What Keelbid is
A service with its own software.
Keelbid is a web app and the service run on it. The app holds one private workspace per client, reads the solicitation, writes the response from the client's documents, sends one-minute questions to the client's experts and builds the final files in the buyer's format. The service is the person who runs it: reads every RFP, writes the quote, checks every answer, and closes the red team before the date promised in writing.
The name is the keel: the part of a boat you do not see, that keeps it upright. A proposal's keel is the evidence under each sentence. The tagline on the brand is "the backbone of every winning bid".
Who runs it
Keelbid LLC, Ohio.
Keelbid LLC is an Ohio company, built and run by a proposal professional who runs live bids on it for client companies every week. The same person answers every message. There is no sales team, no support tier and no account manager; there is the one person who did the work and can explain it.
That is also why the company is small on purpose. Each client is a separate cell with its own database, files and key, and the person who runs the bids is the only person with access. The security page says exactly what that means and what certifications we do not hold yet.
How we work with you
In writing. Within one business day.
- Everything in writing. Quotes, dates, questions, answers and the security facts, all in email or in your workspace, where you can read them again and forward them.
- A reply within one business day. Usually faster. If a reply needs longer, you get a note saying when.
- No sales calls. We never ask you to book a demo. If you want a call, ask for one.
- A written quote before work starts, and the same number on the invoice.
- You own everything. The response, the answers and the documents are yours; export them any time, and we delete the workspace when you leave.
